Earlier this year my husband and I decided to take the leap from apartment dwellers to home owners and decided to start seriously looking to purchase a new home. Truth be told we had yet to find a realtor because most realtors we had come into contact with never followed through with what they told us they would do. This brings us to Steve Koon.
We met Steve at one of his open houses in Redmond, WA. While at the open house he asked us what we were looking for in a future home (area, cost, size, style, etc) – he took notes and jotted down our contact information and said he would send us a list of available homes later that weekend. To our surprise, he actually sent us a list! (Out of all of the realtors we came into contact with at various eastside open houses he is the ONLY realtor that actually followed through with us!)

We narrowed down the list of homes he sent us and toured a few but we really fell in love with one house that already had an offer (sad face). Even though the home was pending, Steve contacted the seller’s agent for us (more than once!) and we were able to tour the house and make a back up offer in case the original offer fell through. As luck would have it the other buyers walked away and I’m writing this from our new home!
Steve helped us (two first time home buyers) get our foot in the door to a home we weren’t sure we even had a chance of buying, create a smart and competitive bid, walked us through the inspection, and helped us buy an incredible home that was exactly what we wanted! We’re positive that we would not have had the opportunity to purchase this home without Steve’s help and guidance.
